Commercial vehicles in recent decades are continuing the “collections in Liechtenstein” series. The Kaiser Auto Tractor (value: CHF 0.85) was manufactured by Kaiser AG in Schaanwald in 1945. Due to its Opel Kadett four-cylinder engine the vehicle was put to good service on farms for decades. In 1921 the Ford Motor Company in Ireland produced the Fordson Tractor (value: CHF 1.90) with an inline four-cylinder petrol engine and three-speed spur gear. Its supporting structure is made of cast iron. Almost 800,000 0f these vehicles were produced around the world until the late 1920s. The chassis of the Raimündle Tractor (value: CHF 1.00) registered in 1967 is taken from a lorry. It is powered by a V8 petrol engine with 5.7 litre capacity. It has steel cable winches and an electrically operated crane mounted at the end of the vehicle and was used for forestry work and special salvage operations. The Unimog (value: CHF 1.40) dates back to the year 1953 and has a four-cylinder diesel engine with 25 hp. Its current owner had it completely restored. The Swiss military deployed commercial vehicles of this kind (type 2010) at that time mainly for Signals Corps.
