FROM THE PHYSICAL TO THE DIGITAL WORLD AND BACK
2023 marks the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Customs Treaty between the Principality and Switzerland. To mark this occasion, Philately Liechtenstein is launching its first NFT stamp with a digitally backed artwork by pop artist Romero Britto. Just like the Customs Treaty 100 years ago, we also want to build bridges. Bridges between "tradition" and "innovation". Whereby the imperforated special stamp block embodies "tradition" and the NFT stamp embodies "innovation". In addition, the original painting by Britto is exhibited in the Liechtenstein LandesMuseum. Each art edition receives an NFT, the total edition is limited to 1,500 pieces worldwide. Each of the individual NFT art editions is virtually linked to the physical picture in the LandesMuseum.
