The special stamp commemorating the Year of the Goat combines Far Eastern symbolism with artistic design while honoring the cultural significance of the Chinese calendar.
The special stamp “Year of the Goat” (face value CHF 2.50) was designed by the renowned Chinese artist Han Meilin. In the Chinese zodiac, the goat is a symbol of harmony, creativity, compassion, and tranquility. People born under this sign are said to possess a keen sense of art, community, and balance.
